About Light Nation
Called to be the light.
Light Nation is a community of believers called to carry the light of Christ into the world. Rooted in the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:14–16, we believe every believer is called to encounter God, discover their purpose and shine His light wherever He has placed them.

Our mission is to help people encounter God, discover who He has called them to be, grow in His Word and live with purpose — carrying His light into their families, communities and the world.
What we believe
Faith that shapes how we live.
These convictions guide our faith, our community and the way we live out God’s purposes.
The Triune God
We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit — one God in three persons. (Matthew 28:19)
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully human, whose death and resurrection bring redemption and life. (John 1:1, 14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4)
Salvation Through Christ
We believe salvation is God’s gift, received through faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work, not earned by our efforts. (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8–9)
Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible is God’s inspired and trustworthy Word, our foundation for faith, truth and holy living. (2 Timothy 3:16–17)
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells, guides and empowers believers to become more like Christ and bear witness to Him. (John 14:16–17; Acts 1:8)
Baptism in the Holy Spirit
We believe Jesus gives His people power through the Holy Spirit to live boldly and fulfil God’s purposes. (Acts 1:8; Ephesians 5:18)
Divine Healing
We believe God still heals today and that we may pray with faith for healing, trusting His wisdom, compassion and power. (James 5:14–15)
The Church
We believe the Church is the family and body of Christ, called to worship God, make disciples, love one another and serve the world. (Matthew 28:19–20; 1 Corinthians 12:27)
The Return of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ will return in glory to gather His people and establish His everlasting kingdom. (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Revelation 22:12)
Our founders
A church built together.
Joe and Josie Benjamin are the founders and lead pastors of Light Nation. Together, they carry a heart to build a vibrant, Spirit-filled church where people from every background can encounter God, find family and discover their purpose.
Their desire is to see a church that loves God deeply, loves people genuinely and makes a lasting difference in Wolverhampton and beyond.
